Adding Existing Users to Collections

Overview

  • Account Owners can assign a user permissions in multiple Collections.

  • Example:

    • A user might have the Collection Owner role in Collection 1 but only Operator permissions in Collection 2 and Collection 3.

Note: If a user is assigned different roles across Collections, the system grants the higher role's permissions for that Collection's assets.


Steps to Add an Existing User to a Collection

  1. Open Account Management:

    • Click Account in the left pane.

  2. Select the Target Collection:

    • Click the Collections tab in the right pane.

    • Locate the desired Collection and click Add User at the end of the Users column.

  3. Assign the User and Role:

    • Use the Select User drop-down to choose the user to add.

    • Use the Select Role drop-down to assign the user's role in the Collection.

  4. Save Changes:

    • Confirm your selections to complete the process.
