FAI Map Overview

When you log into the system, the Map screen displays all your Wavelets on the world map. You can customize the map to show only the Wavelets you need, creating a focused view tailored to your requirements.


Key Benefits

  • Map Navigation: Zoom and pan with minimal lag using MapBox.

  • Wavelet Filtering: Display specific Wavelets based on search criteria.

  • Wavelet Detailed View: Access Wavelet status summaries and monitored streams.


How to Access

Go to: (Menu) Map > Map

Workflow

1. Navigate the Map

  • Use + and - to zoom.

  • Drag the map with the left mouse button.

2. Customize the Map Display

  • Enter Wavelet IDs in the search field.

  • Click the Filter icon to apply search parameters.

  • Choose parameters and click Apply.

  • Map updates to show only selected Wavelets.

3. View Wavelet Details

Each marker represents battery status, signal strength, communication status, and humidity.

Displayed Streams:

  • Battery Status

  • Signal Strength (GSM)

  • Communication Status

  • Humidity

Battery > 40% Signal > 70% Comm: Normal/Early/Resumed Humidity > 50%

The Wavelet is operational

Yellow

Battery > 20% and ≤ 40% Signal 40%–70% Comm: Delayed Humidity 20%–50%

⚠️ There’s an issue with one or more parameters

Red

Battery ≤ 40% Signal ≤ 40% Comm: Interrupted/Hibernated Humidity ≤ 20%

🚨 Emergency or high-level maintenance required

Grey

Ultra-low power mode ON

The Wavelet is hibernating

Selected (any color)

Target ring appears

The currently selected Wavelet

Waves (any color)

Active transmission in last 5 minutes

The Wavelet is currently transmitting


View Wavelet Details

  • Click a Wavelet marker.

  • Click + to expand stream view (e.g., Level, CSO Site Flow).

  • Select multiple streams as needed.

  • Quick View shows stream summary graphs for the past week. Adjust the period to your preference.
